Mr. Hampton’s topic was agricultural law and his presentation covered impacts of federal conservation and agricultural programs on sales and leases of farmland, security interests in farm products and landlord’s lien, common pitfalls to consider when drafting agricultural lease agreements, and applicability of Section 18-16-105’s requirements for terminating oral leases for farmland.
