February 2011: Favorable Ruling Received

In February 2011, the firm received a favorable ruling from the Arkansas Supreme Court in a toxic tort trial in which Steve Quattlebaum served as lead trial counsel.  In the May 2009 trial, which lasted nearly two weeks, the plaintiff claimed that arsenic used by poultry companies caused his leukemia. The jury found in favor of the defendants after only two hours of deliberation.  The verdict for the defense was affirmed in a unanimous decision by the Arkansas Supreme Court.
